The ASV Intelectual Proparty Rights and patents are a result of several years dedicated R&D, with several million Euro invested.

The ASV technology was patented in 2002 and covers more than 80 countries “world wide”.

SES Europe AS and Effect Ships International AS in collaboration with associated parties plan to continue the R&D to further improve the ASV concepts. Improvements and new IPR will be patented.

Legal access to use the ASV technology and IPR for construction and operation of an air supported vessels may be obtained through a licensing arrangement with the owner of the technology, Effect Ships International AS.

Access to the technology and licensing fees will be related to each ASV build.
